Robert Love

Managing Director

Before establishing his own agency in 2012, Robert worked across Suffolk & Essex for both independent and national estate agencies. With twenty years of experience, Robert is active across the business in Mildenhall and the wider group and spends most of his time working with Managers to ensure that Shires maintains and improves its excellent standards and reputation for knowledgeable and highly-professional agency services.

George Aves

Group Operations Director

George has been an integral part of the Shires team since completing his school work experience many years ago and has quickly progressed through the company to his current role of Group Operations Director. George has day to day responsibility for the business operations for the lettings & sales deparments across our group of agencies.

Phillippa Storey

Director

Phillippa has been an integral part of the Shires team since 2006! Now thriving as the Lettings Director, Phillippa has helped the lettings department grow to one of the biggest in the local area. Phillipa relishes any opportunity to help our Landlords achieve the most from their property investments, whilst also overseeing the seamless management of our existing Lettings portfolio.

When Phillippa is not looking after houses, she can normally be found spending time with her Husband and two daughters… We will let Phillippa tell you which requires the most management!

Kristian Virr

Area Sales Manager

Since joining the company 6 years ago, Kristian has worked across both the sales and lettings departments and is now extremely proud to be the manager of the newly launched sales team in Bury St Edmunds.

Before joining the company, Kristian worked in investment finance, commercial property and the letting and management of residential property.

With 9 years property experience, Kristian prides himself on great communication with his clients, in depth knowledge of the local market and ensuring the sales process for his clients is seamless.

Outside of work Kristian keeps active playing 5-a-side football and tennis.

Callie Butcher

Lettings Manager

Callie joined the Shires team in 2017 and works within our busy Mildenhall lettings team. Callie will often be the first point of contact for landlord and tenants, as well as dealing with new tenancy move in arrangements and routine management inspections for our large portfolio of properties. With her keen eye for detail she is ideally placed for advertising our available rental properties on our website, alongside Rightmove & On The Market, as well as maintaining our office marketing displays.

Sue Williams

Senior Negotiator

A familiar face at Shires since 1999, Sue’s knowledge and experience are invaluable in her senior position within the Mildenhall office. She works closely alongside our vendor and purchaser clients to ensure a smooth and streamlined sales process and has a very pro-active work ethic.

Maria Hunt

Maintenance Coordinator

Maria has been a valued member of the Shires team for over 14 years! In the office Maria oversees the welfare of all our Landlords properties, looking after property management, coordinating periodic tenancy checks, and overseeing property maintenance.

Outside of the office Marias priority switches to the welfare of her garden which is looked after as efficiently as our letting’s portfolio!

Sophie Edwards

Administrator & Negotiator

Sophie joined the Shires team in January 2016 and with a proven background in customer services. Her role within our admin hub is pivotal with Sophie overseeing the marketing material and admin for both the sales and lettings departments.

Michelle Chapman

Sales & Lettings Negotiator

Michelle joined the team in 2018 and is ideally placed to match potential tenants with properties and will often be the friendly face seen out and about on viewings.  Michelle will ensure the tenants move in process is as smooth as possible, keeping all parties updated and well informed. Michelle has recently progressed into the sales department and will be the first port of call for any viewing or valuation requests.

Sue Love

Sales Progressor

Sue has been working with Robert since 2012 and has the most varied job role in the office. She is an invaluable member of the team and can be counted on to turn her hand to whatever needs doing, while also making sure the office runs like clockwork.

Sue also helps to liaise with solicitors and mortgage brokers to push sales that are agreed, through to exchange of contracts as quickly as possible.

Outside of work Sue enjoys watching ballet (don’t start conversation on the subject unless you have time to spare), alongside opera and often travels to European capitals to watch live performances of both.
